Patented
Pure Multi is far superior to the multivitamin you see on the
shelves at the supermarket, pharmacy or warehouse clubs and you
will feel the difference. Many mass market multivitamin products
contain unhealthy ingredient combinations that can generate a
pro-oxidant effect in your body (producing free radicals). Also,
mass production methods like destructive heat processing can kill
the nutrients and render the supplement ineffective. Most commercial
multis contain binders, fillers, glues and petroleum based lubricants.
Toxic residues from these chemical additives (which often comprise
20-30% of the total ingredients in a cheap vitamin!) interfere
with nutrient absorption and contain harmful allergens.
Doc
G's multi uses a highly sophisticated cold-processing method to
preserve ingredient potency. Doc G's Patented Pure Multi featuring
a potent, synergistic blend of nurturing ingredients in pH balanced
formula. This ensures the product will be easy on your stomach
and that ingredients will not interact negatively. Patented Pure
Multi also contains a comprehensive blend of digestive enzymes,
which enhance the absorption of all ingredients and improve the
digestion of all the foods in your daily diet. For this unique
feature, the product was awarded a United States Patent, extremely
rare for a multivitamin supplement.
"Doc
G" is Dr. Mike Greenberg of Los Angeles, one of the world's
leading holistic healers. A doctor at the last four Olympic Games,
Doc G has worked closely with 12 Olympic Gold medalists and has
tested this formula on hundreds of his patients. Many users report
an increase in energy levels due to better digestion and cellular
metabolism.

manufacturers and raw ingredient suppliers for you to enjoy maximum
benefits from this end product. I have secured an agreement with
Doc G for Bradventures to become his exclusive direct order distributor
of this product. This allows us to discount the product substantially
and offer the $19.95 price.
Vitamin
Quality Warning
Are
You Wasting Money On Your Multivitamin? Many commercially
produced multivitamin formulas are ineffective. Haphazard ingredient
combinations, harsh production methods and artificial ingredients
dramatically reduce the potency and bio-availability of the nutrients.
The worst form of multivitamin to take is a tablet.
Commericially
produced tablets are created by crushing nutrients under 50,000
pounds of pressure. The pressure creates a sudden flash of heat
that destroys nutrient potency similar to what happens when you
overcook food. Tablets typically contain toxic residues of binders,
fillers, and glues that are used to stick ingredients together.
Even capsules suffer heat damage when nutrients are granulated
by friction grinding in preparation for encapsulation.
Other
problems with commercially produced vitamins include using cheaper
nutrient extracts, which are less bio-available than the preferred,
but more expensive forms (e.g. - magnesium aspartate is better
than the commonly used magnesium oxide). Just like there is junk
food, there is junk vitamins. Always choose a natural foods store
or market that carries products from manufacturers that have a
commitment to health and quality.
Warehouse clubs and pharmacies are the worst places to purchase
vitamin products. Look at ingredient labels carefully for artificial
ingredients and chemicals in the product. Many top brands have
a disclaimer on the label reading something like, 'free of corn,
yeast, wheat, soy or dairy products and formulated without the
use of preservatives, additives, lubricants, stabilizers, glues,
artificial ingredients, flavors or colors."
Study
Indicates Benefits for Endurance Athlete Multivitamin Supplementation
This
article, reprinted from the Journal of Endurance, suggests that
multivitamins supplementation is particularly helpful for endurance
athletes.
Since
the late 1940's, our soils have been depleted of 90% of their
micronutrient-rich influence in organic produce. The organic content
of vitamin and minerals either fed to livestock or harvested for
human consumption decreases with each annual crop. If the soils
deplete with each crop, our food chain fails to provide the micronutrients
required.
Multivitamin
supplements are often sold to consumers with the claim that supplements
modify risk factors associated with disease. Because few products
are validated scientifically, we examined the effects of a 24-ingredient
multivitamin formula in an open-label pilot investigation. Researchers
examined 150 subjects for specific endpoints including blood concentrations
of selected vitamins, homocysteine, lipids, and low-density lipoprotein
(LDL) oxidation indices at baseline and at 12 and 24 wk.
One
hundred forty-one subjects were successfully assayed for and showed
significant time effects for homocysteine and vitamin B6 (as pyridoxal-5'-phosphate),
B12, and folic acid concentrations during treatment. Vitamin B6,
B12, and folic acid concentrations were significantly elevated
at weeks 12 and 24.
Homocysteine
concentration decreased significantly during the same periods
(7.9 versus 6.7 versus 6.7 mM/mL. There were correlation's relating
homocysteine to vitamins B6, B12, and folic acid. Significant
time effects were noted for 121 subjects successfully assayed
for vitamin C, E, beta-carotene, LDL oxidation rate, and LDL lag
time.
Post
hoc assessment showed elevations in vitamin C, E, and beta-carotene
concentrations at 12 and 24 weeks. LDL oxidation lag time at baseline
from 57.5 minutes average increased by 12 wk to 635 minutes average
and 24 weeks 63.8 minutes on average. LDL oxidation rate averages
at baseline (9.7 microM x min(-1). g(-1)) was reduced at 12 weeks
(7.1 microM x min(-1) x g(-1) and 24 weeks (6.0 microM x min(-1)
x g(-1).
Only
vitamin C was significantly correlated with LDL oxidation rate.
A multi-ingredient vitamin formula with antioxidant properties
has measurable effects on homocysteine and LDL oxidation indices
[1].
COMMENT:
The inverse correlation between homocysteine and levels of vitamin
B6, B12, and folic acid are convincing. When it comes to maximally
effecting blood lipid health, taking a potent multiple is offsets
diet-induced and genetic malefactors, which may increase homocysteine,
vascular disease, and accelerated lipid oxidation.
Because
endurance athletes present a higher caloric exchange in terms
of intake versus exercise-induced expense, the multivitamin requirements
are greater to offset potential homocysteine levels presented
by diet or genetic factors. High macronutrients caloric expenditures
imply a proportionate increase in micronutrient supplementation.
